You and I can both agree that the world has big complex problems. The low hanging fruit was picked long ago from the tree of scientific discovery. These days teams of scientists and engineers are required to make big breakthroughs that help make the world a better place. My job is to help these researchers work together as real teams, and not just a collection of very smart people. Right now the bottom billion of people on planet earth do not have reliable access to clean drinking water, this is a tragedy. NEWT (www.newtcenter.org) is an NSF sponsored Engineering Research Center brought together to help solve this problem.

I am always interested in meeting scientists, engineers and managers that work on teams solving big and complex problems.
